for reading novel/easy books, which we just keep flipping page by page, i have been using kindle. however, for reading math or other textbooks, i prefer to have a bigger screen (10+ inch), e-ink type (no LCD), easier flipping back and forth, note taking app (standalone note app such as OneNote, SimpleNote). I am considering getting a Sony Tap 11. What do you guys use?

iPad. May want to follow links / email quotes / google some details... so basically real internet connectivity. Plus colour, which is good for graphs etc

+1 for iPad espcially now that the iPad Air is out.

dont you find flipping back and forth pages difficult?i prefer taking notes with a pen instead of typing, so looking at Tap 11 which is good for writing.which note-taking app do you use?

yes sorry, Tap 11 isnt an e-ink reader. it is a windows 8 tablet. the thing with evernote is that you need a "premium" account to access the notes offline.
