What do u mean? For example Lets say that we have the following Call Option:S = 10K = 8Sigma = 10%T = 1Then C=2 (BS)How much is the volatility of the Call?

I have the following simple question: If the the volatility of an instrument (ie FTSE index) is sigma how much is the volatility of an vanilla (either call or put) )option on this instrument?
