hmm this does work under gcc. which compiler are you using? and is the compiler known to be installed correctly (as in do other stuff compiled works)?

cannot seem to find the library. can you provide the gcc line used please?

the answer is probably depends. to me being able to show a growing small account worth at least as much as being able to "borrow" strategies/techniques from your ex-employer
