E-Bay for CFA Books!

I've got a pack of untouched, brand-new Schweser CFA level 1 textbooks (Books 1-6) for sale. Am willing to let it go for GBP99 (Schweser is selling it for cGBP 170) because I have my own set already - anyone interested? I can arrange postage & packaging. If so, please PM me. Thanks.

GLG Partners

I've heard GLG is the best management company in the Euro-hedge fund industry for the last 3 years: based in Mayfair, low turnover of staff, excellent remuneration and facilities......Has anybody had any experience of working with this hedge fund? Any details would be much appreciated. Thanks

<t>You're very right about that, but perhaps your experience has also somewhat soured your future perception on prospective employees? <t>Yup yup....I've sold my soul so there's no turning back! Gonna make the best of the situation - the opportunity doesn't seem half bad. Prop. trading has big upsides (large P&L bonuses, freedom to exercise your own strategies, better job security than large IBs) and downsides too (little or no...

Getting into proprietary trading

DC ...what do you reckon the future career prospects are like, if you join a prop. trading firm that trades predominantly Futures only? Is it a dead-end road i.e. Options knowledge is a must also? Would moving on to a larger financial institution be difficult in later years?
