I did a masters (purely for the knowledge) already had a top degree from a good university. I would say depends on the position - if you can go for the masters...if not head for a top quality MBA at about 26. LBS, INSEAD or go to the states HARVARD, WHARTON, CHICAGO..

It's more for Investment Management / Asset Management and increasingly in Sales - althougth if they didn't request it, would be much easier to go for an MBA at a good school if your wanting to progress in sales since you will do it in 1-2 years!

Would also say that the best age to cash in on a good MBA would be 25-26 : at this age you would have good experience and ready to really build on your career at a young age! Also, CFA is a good backing to the MBA but takes much longer to obain and is really a marathon set of exams!
