Yes you need to be very very good at maths in undergrad to become a quant.There's no way you're gonna pick up things on the job.This is true for quant, not for trading.A masters in finance is certainly not necessary to become a quant or a trader.

MFEs from top places such as NYU, CMU, columbia do guarantee you a quant job.

that one is easy.try the grad schemes first. if you don't secure anything, try the HH.

MFEs help in that they guarantee you a quant job. From there, you might move on to trader.The main other way to trading is through the grad schemes straight after undergrad.
