<t>Back to the subject...Thanks for the link, Exotiq! Very nice. The job would be focused on the Nordic markets, both institutional and retail. I don't know to what extent the taste for structured products differ across the Atlantic. All of you (including HHs) are welcome to PM me if you prefer.Lincar...

Structured products group at ABN

I am not sure if ABN is the bank for a long term stay. They are masters of destroying value. To name only one example: the downfall of the mighty Nordic house Alfred Berg.I don't doubt there are some brilliant guys over there, myself I am a big fan of PJ.

<t>Depends on the trading role. The flow traders or market makers in retail derivatives are not very technical but more street smart. If you are doing the complex stuff with less trading frequency you should go for that.Do you know what you would trade?I don't think it would be to hard to change. It...

<t>As far as I understand, Lyxor is a subsidiary of Societe Generale and not part of DAI (I think it is called DEAI btw). Until now, the main function of Lyxor is to provide the underlying to fund derivatives. The advantage of course is that SG has full control over the HF managers. To be honest , I ...

structuration process of deal ?

<t>Some banks use an intranet workflow site where the sales guy is the one who launches the deal. Then the traders/structurers take over who let the middle and back offices build the products. In the end you have an interactive term sheet that all persons involved can access. It is basically like a c...

<t>They are very good at equity derivatives, leading the evolution of new structures. Their contribution to the profit of the IB is very high (around 90%), which says a great deal about the bank's views on business. In the parts of the business SG are serious about they are very good (if not world le...

<t>The thing is, I cannot think of any team sport they are good at. Certainly not football or ice hockey...Which is quite funny given their nationalistic spirit. This month (or last) was the 100th anniversary of their independence (from us I am afraid, very bad choice to let them go)...They are busy...
