u waterloo has a strong reputation in canada (toronto at least) but i'm not sure about and can't comment on int'l recognition.

where are you getting the 27,500 number from? are you including living expenses? i'm just curious because my tuition for 2004/05 entry is 17,500 pounds (also overseas student). of course, that's still rediculously expensive.
