What are good books to start learning C++?

Thanks MarkI looked at Eckel and he states knowledge of C as a prerequisite. That is obvious when one goes to chapter 3 of his book. Therefore, Eckel is not for beginners.

What are good books to start learning C++?

Thanks guys.So this is a boook for beginners, right?Also, I was looking around on AMazon, reading reviews and I came to this "C++ Primer Plus" book by Stephen Prata. People say it is superb.Anybody have experience wid it?

I started with C using online tutorials and an intor book by Schildt "Teach Yourself C".Should I continue or just move over to C++ right away? What book should I get then?
