Does anybody knows what is the salary range working for a small hedge fund as developer? around 100 people doing fixed income (mbs, abs...). I am fresh CS PHD, how much to ask? thx edit: the position is in NYC

<t>thanks for the repliesi am a fresh cs phd, just got an offer from bloomberg as a developer. i am not sure this is the best way to go, it seems i have no chance to touch quant or finance stuff. some recruiters are looking around for me, but it seems bank or fund doesn't like un-experienced cs guys...

anybody knows which firms welcome "Entry Level" quant developer? I think many new graduates have the same questions. I heard bloomberg welcome new phd graduates. I sent my resume through their website, but got no reply. Any other firms? thx

A car runs 56m/h for uphill, 78m/h for straight surface, 87m/h for downhill. It takes 4 hours for the car to travel from A to B and 4 hours 40 minutes from B to A. Now, what's the distance from A to B? didn't find this teaser on the board, have fun guys.
