I think he is serious Farmer. The current Uk tax law is such that anything you earn above a certain amount is taxed at 50%. Are bonuses not eligible for this then?

I live in the Uk and have always wondered when I see some of the huge bonuses bankers receive if they are taxable? And if they are taxable, do the bankers have a loophole around it? Because a massive bonus would be almost cut in half under the current tax law it appears.
