As it happens, BRK is the only single stock in my portfolio, so I’m paying attention. I do find it interesting that the expected PV of future alpha generated by a 94 year old guy is as big as that implied in the pre-market stock price move, especially as he pre-announced his retirement in his February letter, but that’s markets for you…

So, after a full trading day, the answer seems to be around $50 bn. But maybe there was some extra selling pressure from people who held on to the stock as a ticket to the annual party in Omaha, which probably won’t ever be the same.
