I like the comparison to the French Revolution! I believe such transitions are often paradigm shifts driven by scientific or technological progress. The Enlightenment and early ideas of evolutionary theory (e.g., Lamarck and Darwin the grandpa) contested the divine right of royals, arguing that all people evolved naturally and no class was biologically superior. Now, the digital revolution (especially social media) has democratized access to information - its use and misuse alike, enabled individuals to voice opinions, dictate norms and standards. Rights and privileges that once belonged to country leaders and institutions now belong to individuals.
I herald that the development of AI will take this further. And I’m not talking about Copilot or ChatGPT that practically everyone uses to work more easily and quickly. Thanks to AI agents, I’ve started doing things I never thought I’d be able to do in my life because of a lack of specific education, experience, or time! Now, everyone can become almost anything they want - all you need is a bit of brains, imagination, and creativity, especially with inspiring people around!
