There is evidently a vast untapped market in Japan for Welsh lamb. As evidence, one notes that the annual lamb and mutton consumption in Japan adds up to only about 100 grams per capita. The Prime Minister described the chance of a no-deal Brexit as “vanishingly small” as he visited farmers in Wales on his tour of the UK.

So the BOE is basing its economic forecast on a smooth Brexit. According to Carney that is because it is the government’s stated policy to negotiate a deal with the EU. It is also their stated policy that all measurements must be expressed in imperial units.

The Danish Brexit act applies to British citizens and their family members, who are legally residing in Denmark on the withdrawal date in accordance with EU-rules on free movement.
