Hi again!

February 13th, 2025, 5:12 pm

Hello everyone.
I think I’ve disappeared for a couple of years. Used to be called Copenhagen-To-London or something close to that.
It’s now London full-time and not only on long weekends when visiting the girlfriend.
I remember Cuch, Alan, Paul, isaymoo, katastrofa and bearish. I’m hoping to take part a bit more now that I’m getting back into the quant space

Best of wishes MB

And you’re unemployed for over a half a year? Was it worth it?
Welcome back!

@katastrofa,
Yeah, I guess I’ll be unemployed until next year, moving to London without having a job already and all of that.
I worked at a small hedge fund in Denmark before moving and I was just getting going trying to set up my own algorithmic trading with two friends. But I moved to be with the girlfriend, so I think it’ll be okay.

So you are waiting trying going getting a job til the next year? Well, sometimes a break is good. Good luck in London! Moving in together isn’t as scary as it seems. Much more time to do pleasant and interesting things together!

Welcome back! It’s kind of a dark place at the moment, but we can hope for better times ahead.

Hi @katastrofa
I was joking, I’m trying to find a job. But I expect to find nothing until next year, with how competitive the job market is.

But I agree with you entirely about moving together, we’ve been waiting some 10 years for this. I’ve got some glorious plans for our first valentines together <3

@bearish, I hope I can bring some of my naive, youthful idiocy to cheer you all up than.
