There would be two tests:1. Numerical - 35 questions in 35 minutes. usual pattern. questions based on charts/graphs. about 5 questions per chart but not grouped together (scattered throughout).2. verbal reasoning- 40 questions in 20 minutes. a short paragraph followed by three statements each. you have to say whether the statements are true, false or can't say ,after reading the paragraph.the cutoff to qualify for the interviews later in the day would vary according to the division u applied for. usually around 30-31 in the numerical and around 36 in the verbal.interviews would be routine HR stuff. even though one interview could be by a guy from the division you are applying to, he wud have a sheet of HR questions in his hand! prepare examples of ur strengths, weaknesses, tough situations, innovative approaches, dealing with failure, blah blah and u should be fine.good luck

hi,having gone through their process last summer, I'd say that the verbal part is not as tough. Still, the cutoff in terms of persons is quite tough ; about 4 out of 5 persons will have come only for the tests, i.e. there is no systematic interview then. As napier underlines, the HR questions are quite prepared, and the business people ones are roughly the same... Gets much more "business" oriented on the subsequent rounds...
