Artificial Intelligence & Genetic Algorithm Courses

Can anyone recommend a well regarded part-time or distance learning course on artificial intelligence with its application to finance in the London area? I am very interested in Genetic Algorithms and Neural Networks and their use in automated trading systems. Where does this community congregate on the internet?

I recently read an article concerning genetic programming and trading system in the July 2001 issue of Quantitative Finance. MA Dempster, the Director of the Center for Financial Research in UCam, co-wrote the article. Might be useful if you can get hold of a copy of the journal, or contact Michael himself.
