I also heard their first round of interviews was a written exam... (at least in france anyway)

They need competent people desperately, as they are not exactly full of top talent. And if you get the job, after a year or two, you can make a great deal of money as a freelance as Murex gets more and more popular in banks and hedge funds. (it's a very good system, or at least it's better than any other I've seen). Good luck!

can you tell me something about that exam pleasethat is exactly what i will get to do monday, a long test which could last 1,5 to 4 hourshorrible isn't it?

Sorry for answering so late, laosun. how did you do?Anyways I heard the exam wasn't that hard, essentially basic stochastic calculus and fin math (applying Ito's Lemma in an integration by parts, saying how calls& puts vary with different parameters,...)They have second and third rounds though, and interns are considered as regular applicants (which is kind of tough imo)
