HSBC does not have a strong Quant team in London. Most of its quant IR, FX, EQ work is done in Paris by CCF. Major credit Quant in NY based.

Hi,Headhunter advice here - HSBC are in process of setting up FX vol business globally, based from London, and part of this is setting up a quant team. The head guy is in place, and he is well rated - ex RBS/Natwest. he is well into hiring process, but still looking - hence I suppose why you are asking!hope this helps.
