Which women? Mom? Daughter? Wife? Long-time girlfriend? First date? Are you thinking romantic restaurant? By-the-half-hour motel over the Jersey line? Quirky curiousity that shows how cool you are? Great view spot to serve as background for your seductive murmurings?

Aaron seems to be showing a worrying grasp of the alternative interpretations of taking a woman out. Are you unwell at the moment?

QuoteOriginally posted by: NoniusA wife that I am happy with...Daniel.I love the 10-course tasting lunch at Daniel. It's an outrageous dinner price for a lunch, but a lot cheaper than dinner at Daniel. And it's three hours long, the price per hour is reasonable. The service is very leisurely, so you really appreciate the spectacular dishes. The only trouble with the wife-you-are-happy-with aspect is a good proportion of the other lunchers appear to be divorce attorneys with female clients.

QuoteOriginally posted by: tosh137A second-date ...possibly 2-3 hr. for dining and moreIf you own a tux and like to dance, the Rainbow Room is still great. That might be a bit much for a second date, but it's a fun place for pre-dinner drinks. You can certainly spend two to three hours at Cite Grill on the all you can drink wine nights (with good wines), whether you can leave afterwards is the question. I'm a big fan of Capsouto Frere, inexpensive bistro food in an airy, beautiful space with the room and service that makes it a pleasure to linger. Rossiya is always fun, and you can walk barefoot on the beach afterwards (in summer only). The Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden is another good summer choice, for different tastes. Christos Hasapo-Taverna is a lot of fun. You can easily spend the evening at C&J Seafood munching on Dim Sum and singing Karaoke.

Supposedly, Regis and Kelly each had one on their show (took two bites). Not my idea of spending 1000 dollars for...
