Hello,I'm looking for some guys (girls are welcome too ! ) who did the P7 DEA.If you are one of them, I would like to ask you a few questions about your internship:- When did it start (which month)?- How long was it?- Where was it?I have been working in a top tier bank and never saw any trainee from this degree? I have some pals working in different banks in Paris and none of them saw someone of this degree. Isn't it kind of weird?I am getting worry as I'm considering to do this DEA in september.Furthermore, I saw that there are still courses in may. It would mean that one can not start the internship before june? Which would only leave 4 months for the internship ! If only I applied for El Karoui's DEA I could do a 6 months internship!May be I should choose the DEA MMME or DEA MASE instead, shouldn't I?Thanks for your replies!

I did P7 DEA and didn't have to do any internship because I was also a student in another school. That is the case with most of the guys who attend the DEA and their second/third year in grande ecole: the internship is not compulsory for them.

The DEA at Paris 7 is far better than any other in France, except for the El Karoui Paris 6. Many students do actually get internships at the end.

If you think the Dauphine label is that important, you already have it since you are already there.If you want to do real mathematical finance, you HAVE to go to Paris 6 or 7.Conclusion: No matter what is the preference of HR, you are still better of with the DEA of Laure Elie
