Structurer
Does anyone have any experience working as (or close with) a structurer in Fixed Income for an I-Bank? If possible, could someone explain specifically how a structurer fits into the picture? How does job pace and compensation compare with the other FI roles (trading, sales, research)? What kind of skills and education are typical?I know in theory what a structurer does, but I would really like to hear what the job is actually like. If anyone has any info to share I would be very grateful. Thanks.
