Job market for Embedded SW Engineers?

Hi All:In the USA, and due to economic recession, the job market for Software Engineers has been terrible lately. I wonder if it's any better for SW Engrs in Europe in general, and in the UK in particular. Could someone help me please?Thank you in advance,John

Hi, The software mkt here is probably the worst its been in a very long time. Very few jobs in finance. However the German car makers are doing a lot of embedded work in Munich. Very clever stuff like detecting a breakdown and having the recovery service on its way to you before you stop. I don't know the firms names but I could find out.

It is as bad here.They have also made it more difficult to get a visa again.Dominiconnor
