Actually, I've been PM'ing anyone that asks. The problem is that in some cases, I've been writing some rather scathing opinions that I'd rather not keep up in a public forum. In others (such as eglobal) I have very positive impressions, but I don't want to set up a situation where if I say something good in public it means good things, but if I say nothing it means bad things. I also don't want to contribute to the amazon bias in which all of the public comments are good because no with something bad to say, says it.However in the case of eglobal, I owe them, because they were much better to me than I was to them. Last year when I was out of work, they came up with some very, very good leads and we want pretty far, until my wife realized that I was actually serious when I was saying that I was looking for work in NYC, and she exercised her veto authority and I started working in Austin. (Chinese numeralogy also played a part in that last year was a bad year for me to get a new job. The fates are different this year.)

See your point about the Amazon bias, but there is a difference between Amazon & Wilmott.comFirstly, pretty much everyone here is a real person. We don't have the London effect of "friends" who say nice things and never say anything else ever. Also we know each other rather better. People like you & I who've posted a bit have a reputation, and weighting can be put on our posts. The big difference is that unlike Amazon, the authorities (James) doesn't kill posts unless there's big legal shit. You see Amazon as biased because it kills accurate, but negative posts. They go up, trust me on this, but they get killed. Happened to me.but if I say nothing it means bad things. In a small group, I agree. But there's thousands of people here, most of whom are quiet most of the time, and most it means they have nothing to say, good or bad.
