Hi All,I became a member of this willmot community few days back. I reside in India and being engaged in Asset Management Business. Currently, I'm heading the institutional and corporate sales department in mumbai. This company believes in quantitative finance. So, they have a product which are based on delta hedging, another one replicates the option pay-off strategy that follows mean variance model. Also the company enjoys the leader position in Index Fund category. We are the first AMC in India that launched ETF and since its beginning all those products have been gaining wider acceptance in instititution and corporates. I've some queries. 1) I'm having more than 2.5 yrs experience in India, especially in Investment Management. I've completed my undergraduate qualification in engineering in 2003 and since then till now I've been in this field. Will I be able to get a job in London?2) Currently I'm doing CFA, will it help me to land up with a job there in london?3) I started liking this QF, so I picked up a book of Paul Wilmot. Which course in QFdo you suggest that would boast up my career? I want to be in trading and dealing, especially in derivative. Through experience, your biggest hurdle would be getting the work permits.It's a chicken and egg. Most employers would prefer you having the work permits already while the country will not issue you the work permit if you're not hired.
