UTS & HEC Lausanne

Hi everyone in this forum,I'd like to know if anyone of you got information on UTS's (in Australia) MSc in QF amd Lausanne's MBF programme. I'm trying to understand the content of the programme more than just the names of the courses. However, their course outlines are either very vague or not available from the school webpage. It'd be great if someone can share their thoughts if he/she studied there before or got some of their course outlines. Thank you very much!

Talk to pengtao. He knows very well about the UTS program.I think Lausanne has a better reputation. UTS's program is more practical. I don't know about Lausanne's program.UTS set back is the school reputation and the current course is ran by a group of mathematicians that has no actual market experience though some subjects are taught bycurrent practitioner. Overall I believe it is a great program. You just can't get everything in one basket.Personally, I believe Tanaka or Imperial has great program and staff are practitioner. Again the cost is high. In US, I think Baruch is a good buy.

I went to the information evening in UTS weeks ago. They told me that they rejected 42 candidates out of 60@@

It is a tough program. You need a good math background otherwise you will suffer a lots. This is not corporate finance or accounting you can swallow without prior knowledge. I agreed with the selection process.
