What if I'm not interested in pricing or risk

July 13th, 2006, 1:42 pm

just a question.I have an Msc in QF, and thinking of starting to look for a job soon. The thing is I'm not very interested by pricing or risk (validation...), but more by strategy and modelling in hedge fund/ prop desks environement, but all I can see in the job ads is the experience being an important requirement.any ideas about that? any suggestion of a route to end up where I want in some years time??thxhad

do you think you have enough experience to go straight into a prop desk job, or a HF job?if not, my suggestion for your route to end up there in a few years time is to start learning - whether in a risk job or not!
