Need career advice

Hi;I am currently working as Senior Software Engineer in USA.My profile is1. BE Computer Engineering from University of Mumbai, India (First class)2. Masters in computer science from CSU,Chico USA , GPA 3.97/4.003. CFA level 2 candidate.4. 2.5 years software design/development work exp. in C++.I want to pursue my career in Quant Finance research. I wanted to get inputs about what educational degree is best way to approach it? is it a Masters in Financial Mathematics or a Phd in a filed like Computer Science with research in an area complementary to finanace or Phd in finance.Also what type of work in Financial world will Msc in Financial Mathematics along with my current profile open up for me ?Any help will be appreciated.Thanks

If you had read few threads here more closely you would have figured out the answer by now.Any way I would like to bring to your notice that stanford offers you a choice to do minor in business(you can choose to study finance courses) while doing phd from other department.Hope this helps!!
