Who's heard of WorldQuant?I applied for a position with them and they sent me an email containing the following:"We are pleased to invite you to participate in our online exam. This exam serves as the first step in our interview process. The exam will contain critical thinking, probability, basic programming and logic questions."Does anyone know what kind of online exam questions they ask? Also please tell me what you know about the company. Thanks for your response.Dunrewpp

Very good firm, tough interview tho. They got spectacular performance last year, by the way. I then received another email to schedule the test. The test is not easy and many questions are trivial but many probability questions are hard. You should have seen questions like those earlier to be able to solve them.

Not necessarily true,Renaissance is a good example, strong returns year after year

Did you interview them as well? Considering that you seemed to have done the written test better, I am guessing you might have been short listed

Quoteprim's and kruskal's and analyzed run time etc and some other algorithm ones like minimum spanning trees in graphsGraph theory, what about Dijkstra's algorithm? Breadth/depth first??Actually, this stuff is very useful in lots of applications. But no one learns it any more at university (maybe OR?) How much maths do CS students do/learn these days?
