QuoteOriginally posted by: BullBearGermany, France exit recessionsounds good. however some export is gone forever. and consumption was stabilized by state interventions eg buying cars, money for not laying employees off, or swf like financing. let s see what happens if these programs expire. if uk and spain follows i would start to be optimistic.

All this pessimism and chartists' behavior makes me wonder why are value investors called "contrarians".The others are the contrarians. Value investors only do some math to decide where to invest instead of following trends and charts. and the european stock markets will greet the exit of the recession with a down week! Hoooray!european stock markets greet the exit of recession with a down week

The world bank slashed its forecast for 2014 World GDP growth to 2.8% from 3.2% back in Jan (on the top of my head). That probably deserves to be commented??
