go to brainbench and choose C there, then do it a couple of times and then you'll obtain the required enlightenment... Many companies do this sort of pre-screening, some phone you with the same questions, some book a slot at brainbench for you, some use another similar test-provider

I made the online test in C++ for a permanent (but junior) position. It was not so elementary, and even if the result was "proficient" I was rejected. No clue about why. What about yours?

No clue about why. What about yours? You know, what kind of screwed up place must that be if they are basicallyscreening for people who have personality disorders. Its like, I know all theweird obscure arcania of C++ cold and I'm going to use it to write really impressivelyobtuse code that nobody else will understand! It would be like if the New York times hired writers based on their vocabulary and ability to diagram a sentence rather than on the articles they've written.
