Professional resume writers almost always know dick all about industry in which they're writing for. They will give you a generic CV, which will contain lots of buzz words like "team player" and "communication skills" but actually tells you nothing about the person or their experience. If you're particularly lucky they'll even include a section at the top where you write a paragraph about your aims and skills. A complete waste of paper and time. They also tends to be the kind of people who still haven't learn the difference between plural and possession in grammar, and the kind of people who confuse "they're, their, there" or people who write it's instead of its. In other words, as soon as your CV gets read by someone who isn't a moron it's going straight in the bin. Financial services CV's are different to most other industries. You must keep it to one page, highlight only your best education and experiences and back up any claims you make about being a "team-player" with solid examples. Professional CV writers very rarely know or understand this. If you read around most people will tell you the proper format for banking CV's and you can do the rest yourself. Hell, I told you basically all you need to know already.
