There you go again, Moriarity, always with the negative waves; have a little faith

I'd like to hear details about the projects and people that made the man such a pessimist, there is a lot of fun stories in there I'm sure.

Compare it to Internet and UML; 1st mass hysteria, them gloom, the you blame the technology for the mess you have made, just like Moriarity. That's my guess. Linus is probably talking about OS, where C is probably more useful.

And a misunderdtanding of the semantic relationships among classes can be very painful.

Quotefrom where Linus is, he can say whatever he wants, he earned that rightTrue! There is virtually no point in quoting people like Linus, Gates, Jobs, Buffet. Our critical thinking centers just shut off when these people talk. Its all good while making a point but then whats the point.Whatever people say "Java" is a standout language currently. It is used for high performance computing at every major software company (YAHOO, Google, etc). But then people here just not get it. How did I get started talking about java? Get you eggs ready folks.....throw away.....

C++ is like a power tool. Very useful and powerful for specific kinds of job, but very easy to misuse and end up in A&E.
