This looks interesting to me. I'm having trouble figuring out how to contribute to this project, if I am able.I tried following the links in the top Welcome post. http://qfcl.wilmott.com/. Then I clicked on http://qfcl.wilmott.com/p/qfcl/. Is there some way for me to download the software and get it running on my computer? Sorry if I am missing something obvious. I'm pretty good at following directions if someone can help me.

I have pde101.zip and mc102.zip running code in the corresponding posts. These are frameworks that can be extended, feedback can be given.

Maybe I'm not so good at following instructions. I don't see any posts called pde101 or mc102. I was able to download QuantLib and get that running and I guess I was expecting something similar. (But hopefully less overwhelming.) Why are you using zip files posted somewhere in a thread instead of some form of source code control? Git seems like a good choice for a project like this.Sorry if I am missing something obvious. I appreciate your help.

I haven't been able to figure out how to contribute to this project. I've been looking at MiloRambaldi's contributions and have been learning a lot from himWhy not make it easy to get people to join the project?

I had a similar question before, outrun was very helpful in answering and thus making the access easy for me -- http://www.wilmott.com/messageview.cfm? ... adid=86865 -- perhaps you'll find the answers of use as well! :-)

Start a new project.2. Add new functionality to an existing project (e.g. compare Milo's RNG on MC102).3. FDM2 for Asian-style options.4. Parallel code.5. Post-processing error analysis and visualisation.5. Etc.
