Trainspotting

I didn't want to become an adult as I was a kid. In fact, I was seeing adults not playing with toys. Thus, I was thinking adults be bored not to have toys to play with. Another thing is that I used to feel very sad watching cows in prairies thinking they must be bored to death having nothing exciting to do.as I became an adult I realized that not having kids' toys to play with doesn't (necessarily) imply boredom. But, I am still not sure whether cows are bored.

Cows are called "ruminants" for a reason. They are ruminating.

When I was very little I read that drosophila's life span is ca. 30 days and felt very sad for them. I wondered how must they feel about it. But then I thought that there surely are space giants to whom people (or maybe even whole solar systems) appear as drosophilas. It's similar with cows, I think - they have a different perspective, from which our toys and games may seem completely uninteresting. (I wonder what they think about current milk prices in the US.)

When I was very little, I envied cows/cats/dogs a lot. They don't need to homework and only need to keep wandering in prairies and day-dreaming. I would be very happy if I could keep mind-wandering all day long.

Actually, when I was very little I was only wandering in the forests and meadows, and day-dreaming. (The advantages of home schooling... or no schooling.)

When I was little, I used to set my stuffed animals up in my room for "school" and I taught them how to read and write. I also taught them how to do math. Not sure if we mastered SDEs though. My parents bought me a standing blackboard, which I used alot, and I wish I could find a picture of this whole scene.
