Hello:Long time don't see you guys. I will be teaching a "PRE-MSFE" Probability & Statistics course. Most likely, some of the students have little or none background in statistics (it could even be worse that that, they could have some "bad background").I have been looking around and it seems to me (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong), the lectures notes from Dr. Elena Kosygina's PRE-Course in the same topic for the Financial Engineering Masters Program at Baruch College might just do the trick (a hunch based on her syllabus). I cant find such notes anywhere online. An alternative might be her text, "Probability Primer for Mathematical Finance" but alas I can't find any reference to it other than Dr. Stefanica's webpage. So, anyone willing to share her lecture notes? (Only if that is legally possible, I am not requesting them otherwise) or, anyone knows if that book is available (or when it will be???)Also, anyone that could share light on alternatives???
