Right, I was wondering what to do when my local vol (and mean reversion in case of rate options) is a result of a of calibration; this this case I would have a time-dependent piecewise constant function for local volatility. Thank you for the reply.
So can Fichera domain transformation be used when I don't know diffusion a(x,t), convection b(x,t) etc. coefficient functions (notations are from your paper on ADE)? For example, when I am pricing an option where volatility is a piecewise linear function? Thanks.
You don't have to disclose your age to them, at least not in the US, and theyhave no business asking.I had lousy experience with the Optionsgroup in the past and would never use them againin the future.
What are the "generally accepted" ways of modeling skew dynamics in FX?By "generally accepted" I mean something that is used, for example, for tradingin major banks. Pointers to information/research/white papers would bemuch appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know UofC's placement statistics, but last year there has been virtually no help with the job search from either the program or the career center.

At the risk of sounding cynical, I'd say take it, see how it goes, and keeplooking for something else if you are not happy. I have a feelingthe job market has been picking up only for those whowatch too much TV.
