which program is better: CMU/NYU/CU

<t>Hi Munish,I am somewhat similar to you. I have pretty bad undergrad results (much worse than you) but have a lot better post grad results. I hope to end with 3.6-3.8 equivalent to GPA. What do you think are the chances of getting in with bad undergrad results. Because if people say that i have no...

NTU (Singapore) MFE program

<t>Hi allThere is another thread in this forum that specifically talks about NTU and NUS. I found it quite useful to read through that thread as it gave me and understanding of the differences between NTU and NUS and hence the strength in the NTU's degree.I am sure i read somewhere that NTU has two ...

singapore Management University

<t>I have little knowledge to answer you question but let me try.I dont think its a bad university. Definately NUS and NTU are bigger names in Singapore. SMU is still known mostly in Singapore, whereas NUS and NTU are quite regionally (ASEAN) known. You should ask SMU about the companies that come t...

<t>In Singapore, the three universities each offer a masters program in finance / financial engineering. What is people's opinion on the SMU applied finance program and NTU's MSc finance program. Does anyone also know what is the average GMAT or GRE requirement to enter the respective program (finan...

NTU Financial Engineering

I am also interested in the FE program at either NUS and NTU. Being a foreign student implies, that I cannot take the NUS course as it is part time. Does anyone know if there is financial assistance to non-ASEAN students for doing the NTU FE course.

Msc finance or MFE online programs ?

There is also an online program at Berkeley but its more finance / business orientated than quantitative. You can also study a distance learning program in Operation Research through the University of South Africa and some of the courses are financial engineering in nature.

Name schools vs lesser knowns

I have the same concern. I live in South Africa and I am not sure if its better to do a MS in financial engineering / maths from a University here or rather do the certificate in financial engineering from Columbia through distance education.Let me know what you think.
