I have used analytic to find jobs - and have had several good offers - as have my friends. That said,I was looking for analytic jobs in the credit card/consumer loan world. I haven't dealt much with the 'securities'side of the firm.

I am at Tech now. It's a young placement, and for the last couple of years most folks went onto PhDs or did the program part time and stayed with their original employer.Hope this helps

I, too, have had good experiences with them. Never took a job from them, but always got interviews. As a caveat, my skills are in the Credit Card world, not market risk management.
