how is MAFN in terms of Financial Knowledge as compared to MSFE. I understand that there is lot more math in MAFN than in MSFE. I am looking to do part-time so I don't have a choice between these two..I do not have any Finanancial knowledge but I have very strong programming skills.

moogle, Does your rankings are anyway based on job perspective. I mean do the companies consider Math fin from Columbia not that great because it is more theoretical? Also, MagicMathRoom what what exactly do you mean by theoretical? Is it good or bad? thx.

I think CMU has online MFE. I was told by Dr. Peter Carr. I didn't check but you can look into it. Also the centre for online course for CMU is in philadelphia. They are live classroom videos.
